Extraordinary Stuff

Fui desafiada por um evil spirit no Deviantart para escrever uma lista de 10 coisas de que gosto. Deu-me algum trabalho e demorei algum tempo a elaborar a lista. Por fim lá a consegui acabar e postar no DevArt e também no MySpace. Como não poderia deixar de ser tinha de reservar um post aqui para a listinha de 10 coisas de que gosto começadas pela letra A.

Adelaide

This is my mum's name lovely name. If I had a baby girl, she would probably be named after my mum.

Art

Creativity and imagination are as important as anything else. I'm very fond of painting and all sorts of traditional art. However I do appreciate other types of art such as graffiti and digital photography.

Abstract

I value expression more than realism or details. That's why I'm very enthusiastic about abstract painting and I tend to look at classicism as boring.

Attitude

A positive attitude towards life and people (which is not as easy to achieve as one might think but it's something that can be done though) helps me to succeed in the things I find essential to live a full life.

Alternative

I both appreciate and value alternative lifestyles and tastes. Dare to be different that's my motto.

Anne's Square

That was one of my favourite spots in Manchester (town centre) during my stay there 10 years ago.

Alain de Botton

One of my favourite writers. He uses philosophy as a way of improving one's life. There are two absolutely amazing books by him which I always advise friends to read:
Essays in Love and The Consolations of Philosophy.

Alberoni (Francesco)

Also one of my favourite writers. He's a sociologist and writes about love, friendship and human relationships. His last book also comprises the topic of sex. I had the great pleasure to attend a reading of his last book some months ago in Lisbon.

Absolution

It's not my favourite Muse album but it has one of my favourite songs of all times: Time is running out.
