Album of the year

Foi aqui referido há uns posts o Album of the Year de 1997 dos Faith No More. Trata-se do último CD que ofereci ao meu irmão, um grande apreciador de Faith No More, Young Gods, Nick Cave, Pixies e... Slayer! :D É um álbum que conheço mal - ouvi-o poucas vezes. Mas tenho-o ouvido repetidamente nos últimos dias e considero-o agora um excelente trabalho do Sr Mike Patton e companhia. Uma das minhas preferidas encontra-se ali na barra lateral: Ashes to Ashes. As outras são Stripsearch e Paths of Glory. A voz de Mike Patton atinge dimensões absolutamente incríveis: profunda, intensa, poderosa. Apesar de velhinho é um álbum a ser ouvido com atenção por quem gosta do género.
